According to Xionggu, the west-to-east gas pipeline uses Xionggu automatic welding equipment, according to Xionggu, the west line trunk line starts from Lunnan Town, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (referred to as Xinjiang) and ends in Baihe Town, Shanghai, with a length of 3839km, a pipe diameter of 1016mm, a design pressure of 10MPa, and a design capacity of 17 billion m3/a. In October 2003, the eastern section was completed and put into operation, and in December 2004, the western section was completed and put into operation.

Xionggu automatic welding equipment participated in the construction of the second line of the West-East Gas Pipeline. (referred to as the West Second Line) includes 1 trunk line and 8 branch lines. The trunk line starts from Khorgos City, Xinjiang and ends in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, with a length of 4918km, a pipe diameter of 1219mm, a design pressure of 12MPa, and a design capacity of 30 billion m3/a. The branch line is about 3760km long. At the end of 2012, the whole line was put into production.

The West Third Line consists of 1 trunk line and 8 branch lines. The trunk line starts from Horgos City, Xinjiang Province in the west and ends in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, with a total length of 5220km, a pipe diameter of 1219mm, a design pressure of 12MPa, and a design capacity of 30 billion m3/a. The western section (Khorgos-Zhongwei) and the eastern section (Ji'an-Fuzhou) of the pipeline have been completed and put into operation.

Xionggu Jiashi participated in the construction of the West 1, West 2 and West 3 pipelines, providing comprehensive pipeline welding solutions for the West-East Gas Pipeline, which uses Xionggu automatic welding machine and automatic welding process, and the welding pass rate has reached a new high, with a one-time welding pass rate of up to 98%, which has been well received by the owner and the supervisor.
